These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Indstry platform, including any plugins, applications, and services provided through our platform ("Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, and you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our Services.
Welcome to Indstry! We are an online platform that provides plugins to beauty providers, helping them generate passive income by discovering new revenue streams. Our plugins integrate with popular platforms like Acuity Scheduling and Shopify to provide enhanced functionality.
To use our Services, you must:
To access certain features, you will need to create an account with us. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Hairstylists: For each booking made, clients must pay a deposit, which goes directly to the hairstylist. Stripe transaction fees will apply and this will be reflected in the net amount paid to the hairstylist.
Vendors: For each hair product sold through the platform, a 15% commission will be deducted from the total price. This will be split as followed: 10% to the hairstylist and 5% to the platform. Vendors will receive the net amount, with the commission and transaction fees deducted at checkout. A full breakdown of fees and earnings can be found on the plugins Earnings page on users dashboard.
Stripe Fees: Stripe will charge transaction fees, which are passed on to the providers. These fees may vary depending on the transaction amount, location and payment method used.
Refunds:
All plugin purchases are non-refundable. By purchasing a plugin, you acquire a licence to use the software, and as such, refunds cannot be provided once access has been granted. We encourage users to review the plugin details carefully before making a purchase.
b. Orders and Bookings
Refunds for orders and bookings are currently processed manually. If a refund involves multiple parties (e.g., hairstylists, vendors, or clients), the process may take additional time while we coordinate with the relevant parties. We will notify you of the status of your refund and any further actions required.

Disputed Payments: Indstry is not responsible for payment disputes. However, as an intermediary, we may facilitate communication between involved parties (e.g., hairstylists and clients, vendors and clients) to help resolve issues. We encourage direct communication between parties to resolve disputes.
Acuity Scheduling Data Collection:
As part of providing our services, we may collect certain information from your Acuity Scheduling booking page, such as the background colour, to personalise your experience. This data is collected in accordance with Acuity’s terms of service and privacy policies. By using our platform, you consent to the collection of this information.
